The reflecting pool refills

The much-maligned blue painting of the Reflecting Pool has been completed and the pool is being refilled. It’s yet to be determined whether the problems of on-going leaks and algae growth have been solved.

The Kennedy Center

By judicial order, the Kennedy Center has until June 12th (today!) to remove the Trump name. We have been watching it this week, and the name is still everywhere.

Epstein Files Reading Room

The Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Reading Room is a pop-up installation in D.C. this week until June 12th (requires getting a free timed pass). The exhibit has printed out all 3.5 million pages of the files and bound them into about 3,500 volumes, where visitors can see the vast extent of the documentation.
