May is the month of international festivals in D.C. One of the best events is Passport D.C., where embassies have open houses with various entertainment, demonstrations, and food. Last weekend was embassies other than EU countries, and this weekend will be EU embassies.

There was a lot of choice in which embassies to visit – we went to three of them: open houses at Thailand and African Union, and a new year’s celebration at Laos.
EU Embassies
