D.C. is in full postcard-pretty spring, with flowers and sunsets and people at play.

People at play

Great places to see people out having fun are at Meridian Hill Park or the Lincoln Memorial plaza. Here’s what we saw at both locations this past Sunday:

Meridian Hill

The Malcolm X Drum circle is there every Sunday afternoon, and throughout the large park people are dancing or juggling or just having a good time.

Lincoln Memorial

There are often all sorts of informal performances by the Lincoln Memorial. Last Sunday there was a K-pop dance popup.

The cherry blossoms will be in full bloom this weekend, and there are a wide range of cherry blossom festival events through April 13th. One of our favorite events is this Saturday, the Kite Festival by the Washington Monument.
