This past weekend was typical of D.C. – both a joyous celebration and a contentious political issue drawing large crowds. Here’s what we saw at the Chinese New Year and the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

Women’s March

The Women’s March was on Sunday, the exact anniversary of the Roe decision fifty years ago. The main march was in Madison, Wisconsin, with satellite marches at cities across the U.S. The march in D.C. rallied at Freedom Plaza and marched to the White House.
