Light Yards

For the last several years, Light Yards at Yards Park has presented a light installation featuring prominent international light sculptors and artists. We’re glad to see the tradition carrying on this year despite the pandemic, with music and immersive light design by sculptors Amigo & Amigo from Australia.

The stars are lit 6-10pm at The Yards through Jan. 10th. Masks required, large open area generally easy to keep a safe distance.

Here’s a look back at previous displays, showing the immense creativity of light artists.

  1. Thanks for sharing this from this year and all previous. The extent of events, items, exhibitions, and political drama that are available to you every day is bountiful. I imagine one can never be bored in the “uncommon District!”
