In these difficult times, respite can be found in the natural world, which continues on without knowledge of the pandemic. We have been taking special pleasure in watching the ducklings in local ponds, who are so incredibly cute as they grow and learn.

And while we never get tired of looking at the ducklings, there are also incredibly cute gosling babies nearby. Note that even at this young age, they have the scary-looking serrated tongues which function like a set of teeth.

Most of these photos were taken at Constitution Gardens, but you can also see a large duck family at the Capitol Reflecting Pool:

Thank you photographers, for providing some joy during these difficult times.
How adorable! Put a big smile on my face. We all need that right now. Thanks for wonderful photos.
I look forward to this on Fri. Good jobs.
Wildlife never ceases to enlighten and amaze us. Beautiful images!
