While tango is intimate and sultry, maybe your tastes run more toward the party atmosphere of salsa. If so, head over to the Lincoln Memorial where both pros and amateurs can be found dancing. While not on a frequent schedule like the tango at Freedom Plaza, you can find it periodically, as Salsa on the Mall.
And if you are not the type for either salsa or tango, there’s always Morris dancing.
